Unfortunately, the (Dutch) government is not known for being in good shape digitally. This is quite problematic, because services such as the Tax Administration, in particular, should be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. That is not the case now.

Although it’s been a while, I still encourage everyone to sign and share the manifesto. The urgency of this problem still does not seem to be high enough on the (political) agenda. After all, any discussion about improving processes is pointless as long as the technology is not in order.
